Week 1 Post 2
The reading that I found to be the most interesting was “Cargo Cult Science” by Richard Feyman. Scientists these days have lost all of their integrity. Science is a business now experiment practices are factored by money. They now only show how their product works. Not what’s wrong with it, or what could go wrong. A recent example of this are these diet pills we always see on the television. Scientists tell their bosses how it works faster than any other pill. After a couple months on the market side effects pop up in different pill takers. If more experiments were done this would never have happened. The scientists were just thinking about their jobs and the money that would be made if their product went on the market.
